What is an Operator?
A licensed, ethical and knowledgeable individual who performs actions such as maintenance, repairs, tests, and reports that ensure proper treatment of septic effluent quality and complies with local & state regulations as well as manufacturer specific maintenance requirements and frequencies.  Operators are classified as alternative or conventional (pumper).
Why should Operators join VOWRA?
By being a VOWRA member you are part of an industry network that has the same interests as you. You will be introduced to new technologies and be trained on those technologies. You will have a reduced rate for trainings to achieve and maintain your license. To unite in a common organization with those professionally engaged in the onsite wastewater recycling industry. To formulate and maintain ethical standards for the guidance of its members in their relations with each other and the public.
