This is your chance to be heard and represent our industry!
There are many changes coming to our industry—New legislation has placed requirements on septic inspections for the purpose of real estate transactions, universal licensing recognition is bringing new folks to VA, and the Onsite Sewage System Professionals Licensing Regulations are currently being amended. Help VOWRA address the industry’s needs by becoming a member of our Board of Directors.
VOWRA is seeking candidates for three Board seats opening at the end of the year, to begin serving in January 2026.

Who’s Eligible to Run? Any current VOWRA member who is a VA licensed onsite sewage system operator or installer in good standing is eligible to run.
Each Board member commits to a three-year term and will attend monthly meetings via conference call with an occasional face to face meeting. Each board member will be asked to contribute on a Board committee(s) where he/she feels fit and participate in committee initiatives. VOWRA committees educate, market, and tracks legislation and regulation that governs your industry—and we GOLF! Get in where you fit in!
