Thank You Reminder to all of our members. Licensing to evaluate soils, design, install and maintain onsite wastewater treatment systems became a fact and a requirement on July 01, 2009. FACT: If you are not in possession of the appropriate license, then you are not in compliance with the law. FACT: The ability to apply for and be issued an "Interim" license goes away June 30, 2010. Beginning July 01, 2010, you MUST pass the Board approved examination to be granted a license. FACT: IF you ARE NOT in possession of the appropriate license come July 01, 2010, fines and penalties may be assessed against you for practicing without a license. Time is running out. You MUST apply for your interim license before June 30, 2010. Also as a part of the licensing requirements, you must maintain or obtain a certain number of continuing education to maintain your license.
